You can tell the air suspension support will make a difference. However I haven’t got out yet using it. I feel it’s a bit tight on the hips so size on the higher side if you can do either of two sizes referencing the size chart.
Great fit and very comfortable on the waist and shoulders once packed up. Lots of neat features. Would have like to have an integrated raincover, however.
This is the 3rd Aura AG backpack we have added to our family's collection. They are incredibly comfortable backpacks and are a game changer if you're still using a more old-school backpack, as I was before we discovered these. Highly recommend!
Did a lot if research to pick out this pack. Measured my torso and body to select the right size. It arrived fast even over the holidays and had every feature advertised. At first I didn't quite like the fit, but 30 seconds on YouTube had me realizing I hadn't adjusted all of the many adjustment points on this bag. Voila, perfect fit. What I love is that the frame can be adjusted up and down within the pack itself, making it sit in just the right spot on my long torso. My only complaint so far is that the chest strap isn't adjustable up/down. I like the removable flap to separate the bottom compartment (let's me stick my tent poles down into it to reduce the overall height), and it has just the right number of pockets. The side waterbottle pockets are great too. The mesh back from the AG system seems like it will keep me cool; just need some hotter weather. Overall as described, no major surprises or disappointments.
Absolutely stoked to get out in the mountains with this pack. Did piles of research before purchasing and I am really happy with this purchase. Antigravity works amazingly well and the straps are completely adjustable. The hip straps are stiff and will likely soften over time, but I like the stiffness. Lots of little extras that make the purchase worth it - straps for poles, space for a bladder, separate sleeping bag section, top pocket can be removed and still have weatherproof flap…so many great features. It’s also so light! Not obviously ultralight, but still very light. Cannot wait to try it out for a 4-5 day backpack trip in the summer!
My friend had this bag for a while and I always wanted to buy one for myself! The bag is sturdy, had plenty of pocket and super comfortable. You will not be disappointed with this bag!

The overall design is awesome. It got all the functions I need so far. The Vestal Grey color I purchased is so cool. It looks great in all kinds of landscapes. And of course, the quality is very good. The material is durable. The two pockets on the hip belt looks big but can’t store as much things as it looks like. It also took me a little while to adjust the belt pad. But once you find your fit I guess you don’t adjust it that often so the hook and loop design is more stable.
Measurement chart was easy to follow. Love love love this pack and altitude sports was the only place that wasn’t sold out of it. Super fast shipping and wrapped up perfectly to protect the pack. 100% satisfied with osprey and Altitude Sports. Ready for adventures!
J'ai déjà un sac avec armature Gregory depuis quelques années, même capacité. J'ai commandé le Aura pour voir la différence. A volume égal, c'est impressionnant comment le système AG répartit le poids . Je suis très satisfaite de ma nouvelle acquisition.
