Better than the Nebula 32L in my opinion. The back panel is much better and hugs more rather than sitting flat on your back. Honestly that's the main big difference, other than that they're quite similar. Organization, compression straps, mesh pocket, admin compartment, etc, all fantastic.
Great EDC pack for work, around university campus, and light enough for long day hikes in the forest or overnight camping. It could be improved with a few accessible external pockets or loops for carabiner.
Purchased this 2nd Osprey as a backup for my son school backpack. He's very rough with his current one and it hasn't broken down with so far 3 semesters of usage. Love Osprey's quality and the many compartments.
It is a great backpack with many features I'm looking for. One downside is if the upper compression straps are buckled, it does limit you in opening the main compartment.
Lots of space, compartments, 2 bottle pockets, nice supportive straps, has useful kickstand! But note the front compartment that is a pouch is abit see-through and must have the straps buckled on the sides to not flap around, but the straps then interfere with the opening of the main pockets. It also has 2 waist straps but it has these little cushion pads that sometimes digs into your back/sides (minor annoyance).
I bought this for my son who seems to be able to destroy regular backpacks in just a few months. This has superior build quality over the packs you get at other retailers. It's far worth it for me to spend a bit more on a pack that will last years instead of buys cheaper packs each year. This one has great features too. Lots of room for gym shorts and maybe shoes. The ventilated back panel is awesome and it's comfortable to carry fully loaded. I'll definitely be buying another for my youngest when he hits high school.
Took this pack to Peru to use as my carry on and for my daily treks. This size was perfect! Osprey design and quality is fantastic!!
