I confess. I'm a gear nerd. I spent WAY too much time researching the perfect pack for my cycle commute to work in BC. I am happy to report that this pack, like my.other Osprey gear, exceeded expectations. If you're on the fence, just do it.

The kickstand is much more useful than I anticipated. I also really like how sleek the backpack looks. 4 stars because the mesh on the front isn’t super useful imo.

I bought this backpack to commute to work by bike. I was torn between this and the smaller Metron but am glad I chose this one as it has better ventilation and more than enough space for clothes, laptop, lunch, and all the other stuff I carry. I’m 6’ tall and it fits well; a shorter person might find it a bit long.

This is a well designed and made backpack. Placement of pockets and zippers is thoughtful and it’s just the right size for day use. Not too big and not too small. And if it is too small there is an expanding pocket that unzips and gives lots of extra room. A helmet pocket and built in brightly coloured rain cover pay homage to the packs true purpose as a cycle commuter bag, but don’t let that fool you. This bag is at home day to day use, campus life, travelling by rail and even hiking as the suspension system is amazing. A quality pack worth investing in!
