  Felt no lighter than the crocodile gaiters

  I did compare these to the outdoor research crocodile gaiters, and was expecting this model might be much later for backpacking (whereI will not wear gaiters every day). They felt just as durable, and also the same weight as the crocodile. I may as well choose the Crocs which are Goretex.

  Par forte pluie, ces guêtres me font sourire tellement qu’elles sont efficaces! Fini la boue ou les chaussures détrempées. Elles sont faciles à enfiler et tiennent bien. Bon achat.

  Bought these for tick country. They work well don’t slump down. I have had a set of full height gtx ones which have served for 20 years. Durable functional gear.

  They kept the wet and muck out as designed and I barely noticed them. I like the short style as I don’t think I need knee-high gaiters and was worried that these would not stay up as they sit below the thickest part of the calf, but they did not slip down at all. Money well spent

  I worried about sizing because I have thick calves with small feet. But I could close the velco. I walked on the thin ice and dipped my feet in water underneath but I didn't get wet.

  Attached strap doesn't cinch tightly enough around leg/calf.

  The gaiter fits my boot well but is too wide around my lower leg. There's an attached strap at the top end to cinch it down but it doesn't get tight enough. Perhaps I just got the wrong size, but when I asked someone with wider calves and a larger boot size to try them out, they had the same problem with the boot fitting well and the leg part being too big. The proportions seemed off so I opted to return them and look for something else.

  Lightweight, snug fitting

  These are super lightweight, easily to put on, and snug fitting to keep out everything you want to keep out. Easily worth packing as you wouldn't even notice them in your bag when not wearing them.
