Pros: 1. Comfy shoulder straps 2. Easily fits Smedium Camera Cube 3. Deep waterbottle/tripod pockets 4. High quality build and materials Cons: 1. Clasp system could be better, takes some getting used to. 2. Too many loose strings 3. Laptop/water bladder should’ve been padded.
This is a unique bag for sure. It’s well built like every PD product and well thought out. The straps and back pad are very comfy. The access is a bit strange but I think it’s something you would figure out as you use it. What works best for each person will vary. The top opening is odd but it works OK. It’s a roll top with no zip. In terms of the main area it’s one big opening that really requires the camera cubes to be useful. It also doesn’t fit the V1 cubs which is annoying. There is t another bag like this that I have seen and it should be a great all rounder for people wanting to carry their tech outdoors.
Prior to getting this backpack I got the 45L version for my Canon DSLR system. I also have a fuji mirrorless system and the 45 seemed overkill. I decided to also get the 25L. Bothe bags are a really comfortable, especially the harness system. The pull system to open the outer “pouch” takes some getting used to but it comes naturally after awhile. Highly recommended. Great workmanship and awesome materials.
It takes a while to figure out all the features and adjustments; however, there is so much detail put into this backpack. I purchased it mainly to use every day, and I will bring it on occasional hikes and travelling.
