  This is rated as water resistant, but it would be nice if the USB-C port was covered somehow. It’s rated as IPX4, but the naked port is a bit jarring. So far I just put a piece gaffer tape over it.

  Nouvelle couleur, performance au top. Il faut prévoir 5 h pour le chargement en avec adapteur mini USB … bonne autonomie d’éclairage En utilisation normale. Elle fait partie de mes essentiels pour mes sortie de nuit

  I don’t usually write reviews when something I get has a bunch of cons. I just say don’t buy it and cite 1 issue. But in this case, we have a fairly expensive headlamp which has plenty of pros and cons. So I’d like to write a bit about that if you’re gonna spend this kind of dough. What is good; - [ ] It’s bright alright. Put it on full and you have a clear path through darkness. - [ ] Great balance between throw and flood for beams. - [ ] Reactive Lighting adjusts to environment which saves on battery. - [ ] Rechargeable battery is good quality and lasts longer than imagined. - [ ] LED power lights. Totally worth having the charge information they provide every time you turn it on or off. - [ ] This light is lightweight. Really comfortable on the head when adjusted properly. - [ ] USB charging. This is a huge win. What could be better; - [ ] The head strap loosens on its own rather fast and is fiddly to tighten. Quite a complex tightening buckle. - [ ] Wish it had two buttons. One button for so many functions is too much of a cycle to go through and remember the combination of presses to get the feature you want. - [ ] It takes a proprietary rechargeable battery. I knew that going in and am ok with it, but felt I should have a backup battery and purchased a second. - [ ] Which leads me to this next point, it doesn’t take AA, or AAA batteries. But again, I was ok with this, some may not be. - [ ] The temperature of the light is a bit too cool. Imagine office lighting on your head. A little warmer would be nice. - [ ] The battery takes a long time (hours) to charge. This can be viewed as a positive as it serves to preserve the overall life of the battery. - [ ] The battery is itself part of the light’s housing and is a bit tricky to change. Watch a YouTube video and you’ll be ok. Overall this is a nice light. My Fenix headlamp is built better but is heavier and the battery depletes faster. I think if this Petzl wasn’t on sale I would definitely pass. But for 20% off list price or more, I say go for it.

  j'ai acheté comme deuxième batterie pour ne jamais manquer de lumière pour ma lampe frontale. Très bonne autonomie. Super utile en ce qui me concerne.
