He absolutely loved them, and I was surprised about the good reviews. They seemed pretty cheap but apparently the lenses can hold up against tough activities. As a 14 year old I have no doubt he'll put this to the test. Altitude shipped quickly and had good prices.
Got these glasses for my son (11 years old) and then a pair for myself. They fit me perfectly and maybe slightly big for my son but not by much. We both have narrow faces. I use these for SUP, mountain biking (although for biking I find them slightly too dark at times), trail running and casually. They are a fun pair of glasses that are quite versatile.
A lot better quality than you would think very nice product
I was kind of sceptical on the quality of the lenses but to my surprise, these Pit Vipers are nice and clear, no distortion around the sides. Only problem I had with them are they were too small for my face. I needed the double wide. Returned these and order the double wide. Now as per my teenage daughter I'm the "cool" dad.

All in all a good pair of sunglasses. I bought them for my son, who was mainly concerned about the style, but they definitely have a good lens too. For the price a solid pick. The style is definitely not for everyone!

For the price range, these are the toughest, most versatile sunglasses I have bought. Yes they're a fashion statement, but looks aside it's hard to find wrap around polarized sunglasses that aren't too cheap to work or so expensive you worry about wearing them. These are just right. Two things to keep in mind, they are quite tinted and may not be the best in variable conditions. I also find they run a little small, I'm a male with an average width face. If you are too, consider the double wide version. Overall can't go wrong with having a pair of these on hand for driving, cycling, hiking or anything else you need.
