  good basic stove with some downsides

  Good enough but having used the stove for some time, note the following downsides. Primus almost got it right and it is a good basic stove for the average car camper and multi day hiker. Downsides....you will lose the 3 pin attachments as they will come loose on the handle...store them separately....the piezo...it will not last and while I appreciate not having to fumble for a light....is it really necessary as it is a weak link and because Primus provides separate piezo to other stoves that could be included with this stove....finally and my biggest criticism...there is no reason why the attachment to the stove is made from plastic...it should be all metal...why...I had mine melt due to a malfunction in the stove....I remove the plastic and the piezo and now have an all metal setup except for the turning button which they may have upgraded in the interim to metal.

  piezo ignition stop working after few times

  I bought the Primus Lite Stove expecting a reliable piece of camping gear, but I am incredibly disappointed with both the product and the brand's customer service. After using the stove only a few times, the built-in piezo ignition completely stopped working. A premium backpacking stove should last much longer than a handful of trips before key parts fail. To make matters worse, I contacted Primus customer service for help. Instead of investigating why a practically brand-new stove failed or offering a replacement under warranty, they completely dismissed the issue. They refused to check the reason for the malfunction and told me my only option was to buy a spare ignition part out of my own pocket. The stove itself boils water quickly, but the terrible component quality and lack of helpful customer support make it impossible to recommend. If you buy this, expect to carry matches and get zero help from their team when it breaks. Save your money and buy from a company that actually stands behind its warranty.

  Neat little stove system

  Removed 1 star due to weight but otherwise this is a well designed and well built stove system. You can use screwes on the burner to use other pots/pans.

  So fast!

  Making coffees in the morning will now be a breeze. Love how this system locks and boil ls quick! We're also able to use our pots/pans on-top of the stove
