Quality craftsmanship. The stitching is perfect, the leather is thick yet supple. I don't find them particularly waterproof, but I don't plan on doing much walking through puddles. The lace rivets tend to grate against the tongue, causing some scratches on the leather. Not a big deal. I am normally a size 9.5 in shoes and found that an 8.5 fit perfectly. Wasn't nearly as hard to break them in as I expected.
Excellent boots. Sizing is a bit difficult. I take an 11.5 or 12 running shoe and ended up with a 9.5 boot. Could have probably went with a 9.
These are very stylish boots that were built to last years. The one thing I recommend doing is try them on before you buy them, because the sizing is not like a normal shoe. I had to go a full size down to a 9.5D in the boot, and I am a size 10.5 in Nike etc. These are my first pair of Red Wings and I’m already considering buying another pair in a different colour.

Look superbe, coutures solides, cuir épais. Des bottes qui embellissent avec l'âge et qu'on peut porter en ville ou au fond des bois. Des vraies bottes utiles dans toutes les conditions, c'est pourquoi je les ai choisi !
Order arrived promptly. My first Red Wing purchase and ordered 1/2 size smaller than my normal shoe size. Good fit. Soft oiled leather so they should break in nicely. Looks to be very well made and durable. Looking forward to many years of use. Amber Harness, great colour.
Great boots, I get a ton of compliments. Runs a half size to a full size big. Would recommend an initial comfortably snug fit, as the leather loosens and widens slightly. There is a break in period of about a week of daily wear. Mine came with the Vibram 430 mini lugs which provide enough traction for walking on city streets.
I normally wear 13US shoes and ordered size 12 boots. They run abit small.
