Salewa hiking shoes
Very supportive and comfortable. Need no breaking in at all. Only disappointment is the colours are not the same as pictured, as with most online shopping

This shoe has Salewa’s in house powertex material instead of goretex shell. It’s decently lightweight, very comfortable if you have wide feet as well. Not crazy heavy. I generally wear 11 in running shoes, but for this one I got half a size up, so 11.5 is way to go, especially with thicker socks.
C’est ma deuxième paire de Salewa,je les adorent elles sont très confortables et imperméables, je les portent toute l’année et en plus j’ai benificiē d’un très bon rabais chez Altitude Sports.
I tried these on in-person at another store first and liked them, but they didn't have the colour I wanted, and the price wasn't as good as Altitude. I've worn them out and about (not on trails really) a few times, and they're super comfortable and rugged. The profile is exactly what I'd been looking for as well, in the mid-cut. Really happy with these!
Great looking shoes. Can't wait to try them out in the mountains this summer.
After over 6 months, the Salewa Pedroc 2 Mid Powertex is still a fantastic shoe—and it’s become my daily runner; and that's saying something considering it is neither a running shoe nor a cross-trainer. Super light, with solid heel cushioning and a responsive forefoot that keeps things moving. The outsole remains grippy and durable, and the curved profile naturally rolls you into the next step. The geometry really stands out: the slightly slanted heel discourages heel striking, while the rounded forefoot helps project you forward—great for maintaining an efficient stride. Upper has held up well, and they still feel secure and supportive. Also worth noting: the color is actually full black, not grey like it appears online. Only minor downside—if laced all the way to the top eyelet, the laces can dig into the top of the foot. Easy enough to work around but still worth mentioning. Overall, light, fast, and durable enough to handle daily use without issues.
True to fit. Like the style and very comfortable. Appreciate the higher height especially in the snow.
These shoes have it all for tough terrain. The right level of midsole stiffness (way more than most current shoes) combined with a rocker sole make them super agile and solid. Haven’t tried the traction on wet steep rocks, but in everything else they’re 10/10. The higher cuff keeps out crud but it’s not high enough to add ankle support
Awesome shoes. Super light, with good heel cushion and a nice rebound in the forefoot. Great burly outsole with a nice curve that eases you into the next step. The color is actually full on black. I mention it because it appears grey online. The only minor complaint I have is that, if laced all the way up to the last eyelet, the laces tend to really dig into the front of the foot just above the bridge.
