  Went a half size up for a proper fit. The grip is amazing and makes it very easy to clean after a long hike. Good waterproofing, and comfortable for all day hikes. Only real gripe is the laces tend to have a lot of excess once fully tightened.

  So far they seem like great value for the money, but I haven't had them long enough to really know that yet. I've got wider feet, normally wear 10.5 but had to go up to 11 to fit the width, but seem like a great shoe so far.

  Great brand, weirdly fitting model

  Salomon is known to fit a half size small, but this particular model fits a whole size smaller. I recently bought Salomon XA Pro 3D trail runners in a size 8.5 Men’s and ordered the same in these hikers, but they were unfortunately too small (needed a size 9 apparently). Additionally, I felt I couldn’t get the speed laces tight enough to get proper ankle support. Returned.

  Salomon Cross Hike 2 Goretex

  Excellent shoe which is very light. I have been using these shoes in Vancouver and they are waterproof. In the snow the shoes are warm with a thick pair of wool socks. The lace system works very well.

  Chaussure confortable et vraiment imperméable grâce au gore-tex. On peut facilement mettre ces chaussures autant en randonnée qu’à l’hiver. Ne pas trop marcher sur l’asphalte chaude car va user prématurément les crampons. Pourrait paraître étroit pour certaines personnes. Je porte du 7.5/8 en temps normal et le 8 est parfait comme grandeur.
