This tarp is perfect for my needs. I bought it so that I'd have shelter for cooking in the rain on bikepacking trips with my wife. It's light and compact and the guys are a decent length with a brilliant tightening mechanism. But it, it's a total no-brainer
Took this on the WCT and came in really handy for sun cover and rain! light weight, can be freestanding (not relying on trees), works well with the MSR hurricane snow/sand stakes for a good amount of tension. The attached guy lines and tension adjustors are awesome.
I love this tarp! It's lightweight but big enough to use for my excursions, AND it folds easily back into its sac. I can't wait to bring it out farther into the bush and really start using it to help develop my bushcraft skills.
