I’ve been wearing Smith forefront for years, this new model is even better with a new tightening system. I have a small head and difficulty finding a helmet that doesn’t sit over my eyebrows, the small is perfect so I’d say it runs a bit smaller than other brands. Comfort, quality and style, you won’t be disappointed.
The new forefront 3 has a slightly different boa operated adjustment system which uses a cable that wraps around the circumference of the helmet. It makes for a very comfortable fit but I'm not too thrilled about how the boa dial is free floating at the back. Makes it a bit more fiddly when putting the helmet. Would have preferred a more fixed setup where you don't have it flopping around when putting it on.
Comfortable fit, lightweight, good breathability, looks sharp. I like the extra coverage on the backside of the head. Hopefully never have to review how it protects the brain but I went with this more expensive model as you can’t put a price on safety.
Le casque est super confortable et léger. On ne le sens même pas pendant qu’on ride. De plus la qualité est la!
I use it with my gravel bike. It’s light, after a few km I dont feel it anymore. Good ventilation. I love the look. Good quality
Ce casque est très comfortable, bien conçu pour un ajustement avec précision. Pour ce qui en est de la résistance aux impacts, je me fie à la fiche technique !
