  Great all mountain glasses

  If you are into mountaineering, high-altitude trekking, ice climbing, or glacier traverses, these sunglasses are definitely for you. Also work great for fishing and normal hiking and general outdoor use without the side shields. One of the best shape/designs on the market for these types of sunglasses. Headband is more of a strap but works really well and is very comfortable. The removable side shields are comfortable in cold weather and perform well (longterm durability of the connection snaps is still TBD). Semi-hard case is well made and rugged. Photochromic lenses work very well, offer great clarity and light adjustability. But, if you want a fully mirrored lens this model will not do that 100% of the time. In low light you can still see your eyes but in moderate sunlight they are mirrored. The gold mirror seems to be more mirrored than the blue in moderate light. Base lenses seem to offer the same light transmission. They ain’t cheap but overall, I’m very stoked and will be using them a lot in the years to come.

  Un très bon choix pour passer de l’urbain au sportif

  Je me suis procuré les Venture pour compléter une autre paire plus urbaine de Maui Jim que je possède, une marque que je considère comme la référence en matière de verres polarisés. Je dois dire que je suis satisfait de la combinaison ChromaPop et polarisation offerte par ces Venture de Smith. Elles offrent un bon look, tout en étant adaptées à des activités plus sportives. Elles sont peut-être un peu plus lourdes, ce qui témoigne toutefois de leur robustesse tout en n’étant pas inconfortable. Je n’ai pas toujours le visage le plus facile à accommoder pour des lunettes, mais celles-ci me vont bien !

  Good overall but not the best size for me.

  If you have a slightly bigger or wider nose this is not a good option as it gets uncomfortable after few minutes. It leaves an unwanted gap between your eyes and cheekbones which defeats the purpose of this enclosed design. I wish the nose bridge was 22, 23 or it came with an adjustable nose pads i would have loved it then. If you got a small to average nose you can go for it as the optics are brilliant.

  J'ai acheté la couleur Moss à mon chum en cadeau et il est très content! Elles sont super belles, de qualité et pratique! Que ce soit pour la vie de tous les jours ou mêmes pour pratiquer un sport. Je recommande !

  Nice but small

  Nice glasses, love all the features, unfortunately for small-medium face, despite their site saying its for medium. I currently where 55mm/19mm/148 and found these small (The Smith ventures are 48/19/145) Would love for them to make an L or XL version, or any legit brand make large glacier glasses ...

  Smith is Quality

  Quality lens, frame and a solid case to hold it all. It didn't fit my low nose bridge unfortunately but I'd recommend it to anyone else. Altitude Sports were quick to provide a refund as always.
