  New version : same warmth and rugged feel, different features

  I’ve owned previous version of this jacket - was very warm and lasted me over 5 years. This newer version seems just as durable and warm, however it lacks a drawstring at the waist. For this reason I’ve gone with the Breithorn jacket, otherwise 5 stars

  Super jacket, mais trop coffré

  J'aimais beaucoup le manteau, belle couleur, belle qualité. Mais malheureusement trop gros au niveau du coffre. Je l'ai retourné.

  Super manteau

  Le manteau est très chaud. Il est beau et semble bien construit. Le seul petit bémol c'est que les manches sont un peu plus courte qu'à l'habitude pour du North Face. C'est pour cette raison que je donne 4 étoiles. Ce n'est pas assez problématique pour que je le retourne car j'aime tout du reste, mais les poignets peuvent s'exposer au froid lors des mouvements en amplitudes.

  Warm jacket

  In 2024 I bought a diffent version of this jacket this jacket (No hoodie) from a different store. I liked it so much, regreted not having got the hoodie veristion it the first time. The jacket has worked well during my outing in Toronto during the recent drop in temperatures down to -30 C. With a Microchill fleece jacket as second layer, it was toasty and very confortbale, the hood proptected my head and ears from the nasty winds. My size is medium and feels ample around the chest and waist, leaving room for layers as needed. The pockets are deep and the fabric feels soft and is water repellent.   Peut être utilisé comme couche intermédiaire. Assez chaud seul pour -5 même un plus froid. Fait large mais taille habituelle.

  Boxy fit … disappointing

  I had high hopes for this jacket, but the boxy fit was disappointing. Without internal cinching, the fit would allow cold air to enter from the bottom.

  Fall Jacket

  I ordered this for my 14 year old son - he doesn't like bulky jackets, but Canadian autumn weather is quite chilly. It's nice and light weight - I did have to return it though. My son is slim but has an athletic build - and the shoulder area was quite tight but the body area fit him well with space. Ordering the next size up would fit his shoulders but be too wide in the torso.
