Great bag for cuty everyday use

  05/25/26

I bought the Kaban LTE to replace my old Kabyte backpack after nearly 10 years of daily use, so my expectations were honestly very high. So far, the Kaban LTE has absolutely delivered. The design feels modern, clean, and extremely well thought out. It keeps the durable, premium feel I loved from the Kabyte while being lighter and more streamlined for everyday use and travel. The organization is excellent without feeling overcomplicated, and the comfort level is impressive even when fully loaded. What stands out most is the build quality. After using the Kabyte for a decade, durability was my biggest concern, and the Kaban LTE immediately gives the impression that it’s built to last just as long. Materials, zippers, and overall construction all feel top-tier. A great evolution of a backpack I already trusted for years.

Quality of new Kaban version has gone downhill

  11/15/25

I've had the original TNF Kaban for almost 10 years. The front cover layer has only recently begun to tear so I got the LTE as a replacement, hoping at the very least that it's quality would be as good as, if not better, than the original. I was very disappointed to find that the outside polyester does not feel nearly as durable and that the shoulder straps in particular are a massive downgrade from the original. The straps and the back padding are not nearly as padded as the original and I can tell will be quite uncomfortable when the pack is loaded. Big mistake from TNF. Bring back the quality.
