I have had the old version of the Therm-ic heat kit for insoles that I got in 2011- that amazingly still worked but the battery life was starting to suffer. I went for the upgrade and love the new bluetooth functionality and the batteries last forever! Hopefully I can get another 15 years out of these puppies like the old ones!

I’ve had ski boot heaters for 10+ years and finally upgraded to these. The heat output is incredible and the extra long battery life is outstanding. I can have them on high all day on the slopes. And the heat output actually keeps my toes very warm even in -20C. Not just on the edge of freezing as my old heaters did. 12/10 recommend.
I have found this brand to be the most effective in keeping my toes warm while skiing in the cold temp in Quebec. The App gives me complete control over settings which can be adjusted to your activity. Installing them requires scissor to trim the liner around the foot bed and an exacto knife if requiring a whole in the foot bed and or boot liner. I recharge after a day as a habit. They are not bulky! I’ve had mine for 3 years.

I have an older version and it was time for an upgrade with longer lasting batteries.
I finally caved in a made the purchase. I am a full time ski patrol outside 10 hours a day and the neoprene just was not cutting it anymore. With the polar vortex we have had this year I needed another solution badly. I have resisted purchasing boot warmers until this product arrived. It’s the best combination of long battery life and technology. The app makes all the difference for me. Set them on a low level heat and let them go all day long….game changer. The different modes (eco and activity) are also interesting options. I suggest that you look at some YouTube videos on how to install them, it helped me a lot. In the App on the left there is a drop down menu with a video on how to connect via Bluetooth. Hold the power button and it connects. Pretty much idiot proof. I would highly recommend this product.
Everything came as described and it all worked well.
First of all, this is the kit to install the heating element into your own insole (which is what I wanted). I found the description confusing as this is not a preinstalled heated insole. My husband installed these into my insoles with no problem. I much prefer this product to bulky heated socks, as I have low volume ski boots and like to wear thin ski socks. These have a major flaw in that within a few days of use, the cables that connect the heating elements to the batteries have broken (see photo). The wires are exposed and one of the insoles no longer heats. This happened to both the right and left boots. I have no idea how this happened. I have not even unplugged the heating cable since installation. The tech at my local ski shop said this is a common problem. Luckily the batteries work well (the most expensive part of this kit) but the heating elements will need to be replaced. If it weren’t for this major flaw I would give this item 5 stars! I love the Bluetooth control, and my toes were warm.
