With only the top opening and top loading. I find it hard to get to things from the bottom without removing everything. Makes it feel smaller than it is. Quality is great but for my use (work and travel) it is not ideal.
Has space for everything. The lateral zipper allow you to access your computer and your stuff easily. The fabric had a water repellent treatment. The only downside is that it does not have a waist belt.
