I bought the Subterra Pack 30L to go with my Subterra 36L Carry-on/ roll-on that I purchased through Altitude Sports 18 months ago. It’s the same solid quality, slick and practical design that accommodates my 16 inch laptop, I-Pad, head phones and much, much more. I really like the wide strap on the back of the Pack that slides over the handle of my roll-on and securely holds the Pack in place when running through the airport.
Great materials, good carry comfort and really robust and easily accessible laptop sleeve are the highlights of this bag. For travel use, the main compartment is large enough for a multi-day trip but it does not have a clamshell opening which makes it a bit tougher to pack out fully.
I love everything Thule and this is no different! Lots of space for all kinds of items, but not too bulky. Can't wait to fly with it!

Like this as a stylish travel back-pack, not everyday use. Looks great, quality feels high like most Thule. Would just caution this feels on the small size of L stated for other packs. There is nice compartments at the front for iPad, glasses, etc, but it does reduce the amount of space in the main area that could be a concern for you. The laptop sleeve is nice, but probably over padded which does reduce size again. Nice bag though!

Decent light travel or day pack. Typical quality and functionality I expect from Thule. I like how minimal the aesthetic is - main reason I bought it over similar offerings. Totally subjective, of course. It's relatively narrow (internal space from your back to the front of the bag), and since it's quite structured you can't really stuff it full and have it expand. I think the rigidity is good for keeping things like your laptop protected. I love the integrated laptop storage with easy external access. I bought the 30L over the smaller versions primarily for this feature. I'm happy with my purchase. It didn't blow my mind. It didn't let me down. You have access to the measurements. The only caution I would give is how structured it is - I imagine that's a pro or a con depending on your needs.
This bag has an amazing amount of storage. So many great and useful pockets. It is a tad heavy even when empty but it is so well made and I love the versatility of the bag. I have used it to pack for an overnight trip, as well as my day to day computer bag. There are two ways of opening up the computer pocket which is so smart. I really really like it and highly recommend. The quality is superior.
