Comfortable and lots of room for the toes!
I have tried many different brands of shoes over the years and always kept having issues with toe splay causing rubbing on the ends of my toes. I tried sizing up in those brands to see if that would get me more room but to no avail. I had tried Topo in the past back when zero drop options were all they had. Once I saw these 5mm drops and the wide toe box I gave them another try and am extremely happy I did. These shoes are very cushy and have totally solved my toe splay issue. My forefoot doesn't feel "lost" in the forefoot of this shoe as can sometimes be the case and my foot feels secure in the shoe and my toes have all the room to do what they do. I have since bought other Topo shoes (Ultraventure and Mtn Racer 4) as this brand is now my go to for any active shoe needs. The quality has been great thus far and only wear issues were completely expected after much use. In fact I have bought a second pair of Auras and Ultraventures. If you need room for your toes but still want quality in every other regard, these are the shoes for you.
