  shoes i've been looking for for a long time

  I always want a pair of black lace working boots that I can wear no matter in summer or winter, no matter working in office or wandering around the neighborhood. But it is quite difficult to find one that satisfies all my needs. I was considering red wing but I never found a pair of my size (US6), not to mention the brand usually runs large. So I am very happy to get this original 6 inch 1000 mile boots. I bought US6 too and fount out it fits me quite well. The shoes look elegant and not as huge as some other boots appear. The leather does not need to break in, and the shoes are not too heavy. So I can enjoy them immediately and walk a long distance.

  Probably not for places with leather

  Didn't look hard enough and didn't realize these have a leather sole. Not interested in this for places with salt and slush (ie: most of Canada). Very comfortable though and appeared well-made but I returned them.
