  It wasy first try of yoga jeans. I measured myself to buy the right size. I was in between two, so I bought both. Neither of them fit. I've been wearing Levi's since I was a kid and never had that kind of problem.

  Nice jeans- but fit is inconsistent

  This is the fourth pair of Alex boot cut jeans I've bough- but the first pair I kept. Based on measurements, I initially ordered a size 31 (for reference, I'm 5'6 and 155 lbs). I love the style of the jeans, but the 31 was really tight around my waist. It was so tight, that I returned and ordered both a 32 and 33 to try next. Both were huge. That made me think that there was something strange with the first pair I had ordered, so I reordered size 31. These fit (in fact, slightly loose) - but the style was very different from the first pair I had tried. I they fit more like a flare than a bootcut. I like them, so I kept them, but they are definitely not the fit I was expecting based either on the photos on the website, or the first pair I was sent.
