  Love at first lacing

  Out of the box I loved these shoes. They arrived just in time for me to race in them the next day and I was so happy! They’re light, fast, grippy, and have just enough cushion but aren’t squishy. The tongue hits higher and is cushioned more than any shoe I’ve worn in a long time and I truly appreciate it. I have the black with lime green and I have to say, I appreciate when a shoe company offers colours that aren’t ‘gender specific’, I refuse to buy a pink or purple shoe. I’ve worn Altras and other zero drop shoes in the past and so far these are my absolute favourites. I hope they have a good wear life, I didn’t get too much from the Superior 3’s.

  Fast but cushioned

  I like everything about these except for the uppers. I found the uppers too stiff so I have to be careful with how I lace them. I ended up doing a window/box lace which alleviates the pressure on top of my foot but still keeps the shoe snug. The midsoles are great. Lots of cushion, but not too soft and suitable for tempo runs. There's an adjustment period if you're not used to zero drop. I was mostly using 5mm drop before and my calves were sore after the first 1-2 runs. Now I can go back and forth with no problem. The sizing was as expected.
