Disappointed
These gaiters come in 2 sizes. I bought the smaller size and take a size 8.5 shoe in the Ultra Timp 5's for reference (pretty average for a female foot I think). The velcro at the back is a great idea. I like the idea of a light gaiter (I already have a more rugged one for running through underbrush/groundcover. ) However, they are quite long and a little short on the sides so don't fit snugly on my shoe. The flipped hook makes them looser (I know it is supposedly to prevent it from coming unattached as the foot bends, but this isn't an issue I've had with my other gaiters that attached with the hook down so feel it is unnecessary) I don't feel confident they will keep rocks out of my shoe if they are not snug against the shoe. I think they could be good if they came in a variety of sizes or if you had a bigger foot!
