I find I normally get too hot in most jackets, this jacket is the perfect in between. It keeps me warm when it’s cold out and it’ doesn’t make me overheat. I bought it on sale but I would pay full price for this jacket in a heartbeat.
A light jacket perfect for wear in between seasons. Ideal for many uses both urban and outdoors. Great quality as usual from Arc’teryx. Was a smaller fit and more suited to more slender figures. A great jacket to suit many uses!
Atom jacket is a favourite in our house as a single layer for in between seasons and easy to pack up. I find the ladies fit is more tailored and flairs out at the bottom a bit.

I am a size 14/sometimes 16 and a mom, and the XL fits well with enough room to layer. So far I have worn this for cool, windy June dogwalks in Nova Scotia, and in July on the cool Bay of Fundy saltwater out on our boat, and I am cozy. I am very happy with my purchase. I will get a lot of use out of it, and wear it everywhere in fall/spring, and taking it with me everywhere in the summer for a backup warm layer.
Excellent quality and fit. Surprisingly warm for the weight.
I love this jacket as a shoulder season jacket. The stretch side panels enable ventilation which does limits some of the winter use as a top layer. I have noticed that the outer layer is showing wear from my backpack straps, but so far hasn't affected performance. I think they have an older model on the altitude website as it isn't as form fitting as the versions currently in the arcteryx store and the torso is slightly longer. Not a problem, but also not necessarily what I was expecting when I ordered. The arm length fits me almost perfectly (maybe 1/2 inch long) which is unusual for a jacket as I am 5ft, so I would guess proportions are more designed for us short ladies.
I love this jacket, the fit is true to size and the material is super soft.
This is my second Atom LT Hoody jacket, as I loved my other one and wanted another color. It's rain resistant enough for a light shower, and warm enough for spring and early summer. It packs small when you don't need it on, too. Also great for layering under my Goretex jacket when I need a bit more warmth.
