  Warm well made jacket with room for layers

  Been searching for a winter jacket for sometime and after a lot of research landed on either the Therme or Thorsen. Preferred the colours on the Thorsen but the Therme was an easier length to live with day to day. The outer fabric is soft for a parka yet water and wind proof. The jacket is warm yet there is room to apply layers underneath in extreme cold. Zipper is great and good is plenty big. Really like the down collar when the zip is fully done up. Only negative for me is that the two pockets are in an uncomfortable spot; I don’t think they were designed to be hand warmers. Simple clean design, highly recommend.

  great jacket, fits well for a stocky guy

  I like the jacket a lot, it's good for an urban setting and it is fairly sleek for a down filled jacket. I doubt it will be warm enough for sub -10 degrees C, but in an urban environment when someone is going in and out of offices and condo buildings it is a good match, especially for chillier west coast winters. Down filled and goretex outer is becoming more common but I trust Arcteryx to do that right.

  Great fit and technology behind the jacket re warmth and waterproofing. Only slight knock is that the front waist pockets are somewhat small, but still big enough to fit hands for warmth, or phone, etc.

  Great jacket! Lightweight and warm. Standard fit, not slim, but is very comfortable and a great length.
