Disappointing fit
Disclaimer: I returned the shoes, I only walked around the house with them. The fit on these was very strange. I have had 3 pairs of Asics, and these were totally different. I feel like the arch was in the wrong spot. The 8.5 (my normal size) fit me huge in every way (like over 2cm of extra space from the front) and the 8 was way too short. Very odd. From previous reviews, I hear that it's a common complaint that you need to size down; I agree. I owned the previous model, and they were some of my favourite shoes ever, so I'm disappointed that I couldn't continue on to these now that those are at end of life. The 13s were comfortable, sturdy, with great ground-feel and unbeatable waterproofness. Hopefully the next model will improve on these flaws.
