The Trabuco 14 shoe is designed to help you run through unpredictable trail terrain more confidently. Asicsgrip technology is positioned in the outsole for advanced traction on off-road surfaces. Approximately 4 grams lighter than the previous version, this shoe features an extra 2mm of FF Blast Max cushioning underfoot. This helps create cloud-like softness at impact and a responsive energy return at toe-off. The shoe has a new trail fit that offers a more supportive midfoot lockdown. This helps reduce movement within the shoe while providing a wider forefoot that allows for more comfort on long trail runs.
Features • Surface: Trail • Support: Neutral • Engineered mesh upper: A lightweight, breathable mesh material helps reduce the need for additional overlays • Lace band: Elastic stap on the tongue of the shoe where you can tuck your shoe laces to prevent them from coming untied • FF Blast Max cushioning: One of our most energetic midsole foams that's complemented with cloud-like softness and a responsive energy return in each step • Rock protection plate: Features a flexible design that helps shield your foot from rocks and rugged terrain • Asicsgrip outsole rubber: Asics proprietary outsole that provides advanced grip on a variety of terrain • Vegan-friendly design • New trail-specific fit • The sockliner is produced with the solution dyeing process that reduces water usage by approximately 33% and carbon emissions by approximately 45% compared to the conventional dyeing technology

Love the GT-2000 model. More stability than shoes, like the Nimbus, that have a lot of foam but the sinking in the foam makes the Nimbus unstable. The GT-2000 being closer to the ground solves that and still provides plenty of cushion. For the midsole, Asics this year uses the FF Blast Max, which is a blend softer than previous years FF Eco Blast. So if you don't like to feel like you sink a little in your running shoes, these are still going to be too soft for you.

Great Trail Runners
These are great with a fantastic fit. Lots of room in the toebox for long runs.

Great shoes but tight in the midfoot
Great shoes with solid support and a sizeable toe box. Unfortunately I had to return them as the mid-foot was too tight for me. I'd recommend sizing up by 0. 5, unless you have a very skinny mid-foot. I bought size 12 there's no size 12. 5, so I couldn't size up (13 would have been too big)
