This is an impressive piece of clothing. I was aware that Barbour is a high-quality manufacturer, but its quality has exceeded my expectations. As indicated in the product description, it is a fitted coat and suitable for three seasons, including winter. I am very pleased with this purchase.

It’s awesome, fits well although a little tight on the shoulders. The material is very thick and the feel is overall awesome. Buy it for life.

After trying the bedale, Beaufort in both classic and thornproof, the Ashby turned out to be the best fitting jacket for my body type and measurements. Size XL Chest 44, waist 33, weight 183 lbs, height 5'8

I did a fair bit of research on Barbour jackets before landing on the Ashby, and I’m glad I did. The Ashby has a more modern, tailored fit without losing the classic Barbour look. I ordered both a medium and a large to compare, and while the large worked, the medium was the clear winner with cleaner lines and a better overall. Altitude had the best pricing I could find, shipped quickly, and made the sizing decision easy by sending both jackets. Their service was excellent, and the return was painless. Very happy with both the jacket and the buying experience.
