  I was looking to upgrade to a glove style pole and on paper I like these more than the Leki. The snap in system on these is really slick, the pole is nice and slender, I like the longer grips near the top. However, the gloves really hurt my hands along the webbing between my thumb and index finger. I ordered a 110 cm, which comes with a small glove. The velcro around the writst was fine, but the overall glove was just too small. A medium glove might have worked better, but it is another ~$50 to purchase a new glove and the poles are already really pricey. Ultimatley I decided to stick with my standard poles for a while longer because I didn't think the price was worth it considering the poor fit of the glove. Might try these again in the future if BD adjusts the glove fit or allows for you to select your glove size.

  Fantastic poles

  Just used these poles for a 100 mile trail race with only a couple of training runs to get used to them. I can easily clip them in and out single handed and they're very secure once clipped in. Much easier to use than the Leki Shark system. Poles themselves seem to be excellent quality and light weight. Highly recommended

  Super quick clip mechanism, but not perfect

  I just ran a mountain 100 km using these: ==== What I like: * The magnet is very easy to clip/unclip using two hands (never use leki poles before so I can't compare) * Can also clip/unclip with just one hand, but this require a practice, you have to plant the pole first to the ground and push down the top part. * Clip and unclip is easier than the old strap system * Slightly cheaper than Leki FX one ==== Mediocre stuff: * During cold nights, Just like any other glove system (including leki), wearing gloves is rather annoying because you need to unstrap and re-strap it over your glove. * Weight is 2-3 grams off from the spec * my old BD carbon Z poles are much lighter, but a bit lighter than the Leki FX one (non superlight) * If the channel got dirty, you can't slide in the magnet, need to unclog it. ==== What I really hate: * The glove velcros are really short, I own 110 cm and the glove says size "Small" but it feels like it's size XS. Maybe they make the velcros short because they want to save weight? WARNING, if you need shorter poles but have big hands, please consider to buy separate bigger gloves (super pricy) ==== What I'm still not sure: * Can't report on durability but the gloves are reinforced with Dynex (some kind of dyneema fibers) so I guess it should be good

  Great trail running poles

  Very light collapsible poles that also feel sturdy and strong. Magnetic clip for the wrist straps is easy to use. These are now my go-to poles for long runs and fast packing!

  Great Poles

  This is my first set of poles for ultra running. I bought them during the May long weekend sale, as price was a big concern. So far so good they’re reasonably light, and fold up compact. I would buy again.
