I have several Black Diamond clothing pieces and always been satisfied. The quality, price and fit are excellent in this jacket. I’m 5’ 4”, 125 pounds and wear a XS. Love the pit zippers and of course it keeps me totally dry in the rain. It’s lightweight, not crunchy and comfortable.

I was looking for a waterproof jacket for hiking to replace my old one whose lining wore out way too soon. As a minimum I expected pit zips, roomy pockets, and a comfortable hood in a color that I was attracted to. This jacket in a soft green has the pit zips & 2 deep zippered pockets ( a chest pocket would have been a nice bonus). I always struggle with hoods because I find them too floppy so as to limit my vision. At first glace this one seems no better, having little rigidity in the brim, but I will reserve judgement until I have tried it out on the trails in the rain. I liked the idea of the "stretch" fabric, but I do not feel there is much stretch to it. According to the sizing chart, I should have been XS, but the S fit me perfectly with room for light layers underneath. I did not find the hips too narrow as some other reviewers did. The big thing for me will be how long the waterproof lining will last, which remains to be seen.
Le capuchon fait bien par dessus un casque de vélo. Coupe flatteuse. Belle couleur. Très imperméable.

Bien qu'il soit un peu plus ajusté au niveau des hanches que ce dont j'ai l'habitude, son extensibilité procure le confort suffisant pour que je n'aie pas ressenti le besoin de le retourner. J'ai déjà pu le porter sous la pluie et j'étais bien protégée. L'imperméabilité est parfaite et la forme du capuchon protège bien le visage (et les lunettes dans mon cas).
