This was an upgrade from the 12 L Dakine backpack. Perfect size for elementary school kids, smart design (2 water bottle holders, large inner area but also zippers and a chest strap). Fully washable and based on how well the 12l held up (looks brand-new after 2 years of heavy use) should last till middle school.
This backpack is perfect for elementary age kids. Its just the right size, big enough that it holds everything but not so large that its hard to carry or uncomfortable. We LOVE it!
I like this backpack but will be returning. My child will need to carry fall and winter clothing and there is not room for much more than a change of clothes, lunch kit, and duotang. Wish it was a bit bigger.
Durable material zippers and nice function. A bit more of a mature looking backpack for a kid.

La grandeur est parfaite pour mon garçon qui débute la maternelle. Le matériel entre bien, même un petit cartable. Le sac à dos pourrait également bien faire pour la 1ere et 2e annee. Il n’est pas trop gros pour la grandeur de mon garçon.
Great size for a first grader. Room for books and lunch, but not too big either.
Sac parfait pour enfants. Juste d’une belle grosseur. Beaucoup de compartiments utiles et le sac est de très bonne qualité. Mon garçon de 6 ans l’adore.
Parfait pour la maternelle
Bought this backpack for my son to start kindergarten. I love the size, it's not too bulky - it's slightly lengthier than wider. Love the various compartments and pockets. The shoulders are nicely padded and my son loves to use the chest buckle and the whistle, being the perfect addition. It is really the perfect size and comfort for him, we also love the neutral pattern. If you rather something larger to fit many items this bag might not be for you, but I'd still recommend going Dakine!
