  I bought these for the cottage and for hiking and I love them. Comparable to Smartwool but I think they have a slight edge when it comes to moisture wicking. Cushioning is great. I feel it walking around the cottage and you definitely feel an improvement when hiking. Definitely no odour after a full days use. The stiching/seems appear to be a tighter/heavy-duty than Smartwool. They're expensive but you get what you pay for. Bonus: unconditional lifetime guarantee.

  These are the only socks I'll wear on long hikes now. They are comfortable, keep my feet dry and never cause blisters. They are also very durable. I was burning through my merino socks from another big brand as they'd have a new hole after every hike.

  I’m 70 years old and walk a lot. I have been wearing this brand of socks for many years, at least 15 or 16 years. After trying other brands that disappoint I come back to these very tough socks. I’m always satisfied with the purchase.
