So Light
I finally pulled the trigger on these and I wasn’t disappointed. Very comfortable out of the box and ridiculously light. They were just as good descending. Best touring boot I’ve ever owned

Premium boot for fast climbs and powerful descents.
Light, comfortable and a strong downhiller: The lightweight Ridge Pro ski touring boot for men is the ultimate partner for ambitious ski tours on alpine terrain. If never compromising on the mountain is everything to you, then the Ridge Pro is your boot. It delivers the perfect fusion of speed mountaineering and free touring, while offering impressive performance both uphill and downhill-all with maximum performance and comfortable fit. On the way to your perfect line, this premium boot scores as a fast, nimble climber. Once on the summit, it transforms into a first-class downhiller with just one-hand handling. The heart of this new ski touring boot is the revolutionary, patented tongue construction, the Floating Tongue. On the climb, the tongue glides across the cuff horizontally with your motion. Together with the generous cuff rotation of 70 degrees, that enables a totally natural walking movement without any pressure points or friction. Whether you have a high or low instep, the Floating Tongue ensures long-lasting comfort down to the last meters of climbing. Using an easily operated adjustment dial, you can customize the volume three-dimensionally and very precisely to fit your needs. Downhill, you can bring all you have to the ski with the Ridge Pro. With the relocation of the rear buckle, the Hoji Lock System has been put under tension. Cuff and shell are unified into one fully interlocking unit without any play for the best power transfer. The progressive flex sits at 120 and thus hits the sweet spot between stability, responsiveness, and smooth ski handling. The use of first-class Grilamid with carbon fibers makes the boot light, but nevertheless very durable and rigid. Ridge Pro Boot-ready for big challenges.

Robert B. Eric L. Rated 5 out of 5Great fit for a wide foot
These are exceptional boots for anyone with a wide foot. I usually have trouble sizing shoes/boots and several “wide” models are too narrow for my foot. These are wide at the forefoot while still providing some “hold” at the heel area. Since fit is everything I am one happy camper. In ascent mode the flex is absolutely amazing: smooth flex, no pressure points. When locking into descent mode this feels like a 120 alpine ski boot, without the bulk. Very rigid, provides confidence going downhill. Sizing is exactly as printed.
