Love everything about the Kanken. Purchased this for my son who’s in Grade 10. The colour is masculine and extremely functional for what he needs it for. Fits all of his essentials with no problem. I did find the straps a bit uncomfortable when full however I also ordered the padded straps and now it’s a perfect and comfortable everyday backpack.

C'est mon deuxième sac de la marque et je l'adore. Il est tout aussi confortable que le Kanken, qui m'a suivi dans plusieurs voyages. J'aime le look chic de celui-ci.

Joli sac à dos avec le logo brodé ton sur ton, très bien fait! Malgré le look, je l’ai retourné à cause des bretelles que n’ai pas aimées et du manque d’ajustement et de confort. Dommage.

This Re Kanken Backpack was exactly what I was looking for in replacing my old Jansport backpack. The olive colour is subtle and goes well with everything. The size is perfect for fitting A4 sized paper. I like that the zipper goes all the way around the backpack. The material is a bit stiff, so it makes the zipper hard to access sometimes. I also wish the front pocket was slightly larger. I was most surprised about how light it is to carry even when stuffed with groceries. I didn’t find the straps to dig into my shoulders much.

I own 4 fjallraven bags in different sizes and materials. This regular size reKanken (fits A4 size paper and etc.) is just right for my work-home and a short weekend get away. I don’t overpack my bags (weight wise) and if you do, be sure to purchase the extra shoulder pads. The straps are thin and it WILL dig in your shoulders. Can’t comment on the durability yet as my other bags are G1000 and classic Kanken mini. Both still working well after 3 years of frequent usage (I don’t abuse nor baby my bags), I’m assuming this one will also last me for a while. Highly recommend this backpack for the ones that pack light!
