  Quality Materials but

  I really like the Vardag Jacket and was impressed by the quality of the material. It feels durable, well-made, and exactly what I expect from this brand. Unfortunately at 6'2" and 195lbs, the size Large fit smaller than expected. I normally always wear a Large with this brand, but this jacket felt tight, especially in the sleeves, which were noticeably too short for me. I returned the jacket. Aside from the sizing issue, the jacket itself is excellent and made with high-quality materials.

  Good overall but a bit short

  I find this jacket to be pretty good if you are looking something light and durable. The material looks like it could take a lot of abuse. However, I had to return it because I found it a little too short for my liking.

  boxy jacket

  The jacket doesn’t look bad but it is boxy and not very comfortable when you put it one for the first time. The texture is relatively hard. It is not slim fit and the adjustment is limited

  Classic jacket

  Very well made jacket. It is boxy and not the typical FJ fit. That being said it is great for layering. Hope to have this jacket for many years

  Just what I was after

  Love this coat already. Saw several reviews saying it had an overly boxy fit. I’m 6’2” 210 lb with an athletic build and this fit great in XL. I did pull the fjallraven logo off the front because it was too flashy for me, but that’s a personal style thing.

  Excellent quality. True fit size jacket. However do not appreciate brand logo (multi color) on the left side. Should be more discret.

  Très bon choix!

  J'adore! Très beau et bonne qualité. La coupe est un peu ample mais il fait très bien. Le fit est un peu serré au épaules (je mesure 6. 1). Par contre, je prends du Large d'habitude mais avec cette marque je dois prendre du XL.

  Great Casual and Light-Wear Jacket

  Purchased after tracking the price for a few months, it's from a great outdoors brand but may be considered expensive at full price as it's effectively an unlined canvas jacket. That being said, it's Fjallraven's rugged G1000 canvas used in many of their hardwearing products and based on other items we have of the same material should be fairly durable (and can be waxed, if desired). Some other reviews note a wide fit, and while it is a little boxy it is not unflattering––we've found enough room to comfortably add a sweatshirt layer underneath.
