  Multi-use silicone sealant

  This product is made for sealing the seams of a tent. Since it creates a thin silicone layer when dried, it can also be used to seam seal dry sacks, repair holes on nylon with a waterproof coating. The silicone layer is stretchable, so won't affect affect the original softness of the fabric. Easy apply with the tool come with the prodect.

  J'aime bien les produits fabriqués par Gear Aid, incluant celui-ci. Comme les "patches" produites par la même compagnie, avoir ce scellant sous la main en cas de pépin ou appliqué de fa:u00e7:on préventive fait le travail. Pratique pour des réparations de bottes pantalons aussi.

  Essential for repair of modern tents with outer silicone coating

  Pair with tenacious tape (for interior side) for a lightweight repair solution when nature decides to poke a hole in your Durston tent. I think I prefer this combo vs seam grip WP/silicone patch.

  What I needed!

  Opted for the exterior application on all seams. Saves the hassle of removing every bit of silicone tape left on the inside. Barely did a complete Hubba Hubba with one tube.

  Wear and tear of tent?

  With constant use of my tent, folding and unfolding caused wear and tear in my tent. This was a home project as it needed a bit of time to set. In the end it worked out quite well. Just have to see if it will last the test of time.

  got it for Lanshan 2 pro tent but also applied all my different tent and tarps too. easy to apply and works great. so far so good.
