I love this solar panel for camping, backpacking and ski touring over multiple days. It's lightweight and small. The holes at each corner are great to attach to you bag while walking or to hang somewhere with better sun exposure. The stand makes it easy to prop almost anywhere. It's built tougher than other comparable devices such as the Biolite.

I was looking for something to charge my Garmin in the backcountry beyond it's usual 3-4 day battery lifespan. It does the job perfectly and I am really happy with my purchase!

Pros: Rugged and well built Cons: Expensive and heavy for its charging capability While I thought I had done my research before buying the Nomad 10, I soon realized that I could get a quality solar panel for less money, twice the charging capacity *and* at a lighter weight. As I take this backcountry camping, the most charge for the lightest weight is my priority - and the Nomad 10 is outmatched by other options.

Panel is very well constructed and seems rugged so the rating reflects that. It does seem heavy for it's volume, but that is to be expected when dealing with panels.

Excellent product, rugged design that is important for canoe camping trips. The folding design is great. It also fits nicely inside a waterproof sleeve sized for a large tablet. It charged my power bank within a day on a not full sun day, no problem. Bought for multiple 5-6 day trips where the power bank needs recharged. Work from home?... work from backcountry camp pitch now possible! (if there's signal!)
