This is the perfect backpack for someone who wants to try lightening their gear without giving up many traditional features found on heavier backpacks. This bag is incredibly comfortable, I can’t recommend it highly enough!
Haven't had a chance to try this bag on with any weight in it yet but good initial impression. Very light as promised, with a sufficient amount of pockets. Detachable brain is a nice feature as well. Understand that it's supposed to be in the "pretty light" category of bags but would have been nice if they just added one zipper for the large compartment (I don't need any other bells or whistles). Removable rainfly would have been nice as well.
I haven't tested it out on a trip yet as I'm not a winter backpacker but so far really like the bag. So much lighter than my previous Osprey Ariel 55L pack. It's also a lot smaller height wise than my previous pack which I like but might be surprising to some. I'm guessing this has to do with the measurement of volume which can include only the main compartment or the sum of all compartments. Marked as "runs small" to capture this but the torso sizing is accurate. Will see how it performs comfort wise on longer trips but happy with it so far. I do wish Gregory had an equivalent to Osprey's "stow on the go" trekking pole feature.
This pack is comfortable and great. I am 5’0 and the XS in this pack is one of the only ones I can find in a lightweight pack. Haven’t used it on a trip yet but it fits stuff well and has good pockets.
Dimensions et caractéristiques parfaites pour mes besoins (ventilation, poids, sangles, etc.). Par contre, les bretelles sont trop étroites et irritent mon cou. Les sangles de levage aux bretelles sont très petites et difficiles à ajuster (cachées par le dessus amovible et coincent dans la quincaillerie en plastique). Bon sac à dos, mais il faut vraiment l'essayer pour savoir s'il fait. Personnellement, je l'ai retourné.
The design is great, especially the mesh pockets on the outside. However I got this model in size M and got the men's version (Focal 58L) size M, and the Facet's back is longer despite being the women's version.
