We researched for a carry-on backpack to travel and to walk the Camino de Santiago. We evaluated and tried several 40-litre carry-on size travel backpack and settled on the Gregory Tetrad 40. The deciding feature is its “alloy steel frame and anti-barreling cross stay system” when other packs has no frame structure to save the weight. The Tetrad has a compartment inside for dirty or stinky clothing which we are indifferent and it is puzzling why only the main compartment zipper is lockable and not the zipper to the front pocket as well.

Après deux semaines d’utilisation journalière, je recommande ce sac à tous. Si j’avais eu ce sac lorsque j’étais en sport étude, j’aurais été beaucoup moins encombré lors de mes déplacements ! La section pour les vêtements sales est un bon plus. Ce sac est vraiment confortable et lors de randonnées on ne le sens pas vraiment, il épouse bien la forme du dos même s’il est un hybride entre tous les jours et randonnée.

We tried a few 40-litre travel packs and settled on the Tetrad. The winning features are the soft suspension and ventilation for the back where other packs have a straight back without support and no air flow. It has locking zippers for the main compartment but not the top and the front pockets. We will purchase locks that can secure the top and the front.

Grosseur parfaite pour apporter en carry-on! Pouvoir ouvrir le sac comme une valise est très accommodant et c’est ce que je recherchais! Très bon sac!

Ce sac est vraiment bien pensé et son armature au dos laisse respirer le dos grace à sa conception. C'est également très pratique de pouvoir l'ouvrir au complet pour avoir accès rapidement à ce qui est à l'intérieur sans devoir tout sortir. Nous aveon également la version pour femme " Tribute 40" qui est parfait également. *** Noter que c'est la version 40L qui qualifie comme Carry-on. Le 55L est trop grand.

Magnifique sac, très fonctionnel et ultra confortable. Je ne l'ai pas encore essayé pour une longue randonnée, mais je suis certain qu'il sera génial. Les différentes poches sont aussi très utiles. Je compte utiliser ce sac pour mes prochains voyages carry-on; il a la grandeur parfaite pour cela (assez grand pour tout contenir, mais assez petit pour voyager avec!)
