Compact efficient coffee press for travelling. Good value

Fizz Rated 5 out of 5Great tasting french press coffee on the go
I've owned one of these for a couple years now and absolutely love it. I just bought another one for my neice. Nothing like waking up with a steaming hot cup of french press coffee when you're camping. It is lightweight, durable and compact. Not having the typical shaft plunger down the center means that you can easily store all your coffee inside during the hike. Nice, simple design. Make sure you read the instructions! There is a method to it.
Kieran S. Rated 5 out of 5Makes good coffee and is compact
I wanted a small and compact French press style coffee maker for backpacking. I just got back from a five day backpacking trip to Frontenac Park and took the GSI commuter press with me. It was simple to use, exactly like the larger version which I also have and really like. The press makes great coffee but has the usual clean up associated with any press. The press is light and suitable for backpacking.
