  Light, compact, great quality

Great quality set. Compact and super light. Love the size too. Picked LARGE for car camping and cooking for a group. I imagine small size would be good for backpacking.

Great ceramic non-stick, but softer metal

  09/18/24

I’ve used a few Bugaboo Base Camper non-stick cooksets in the past, and I was excited to try out the ceramic version this time. The ceramic non-stick feature is fantastic—much better than the traditional Teflon. You can cook with less oil, which is great when you're out in the wild, and it’s noticeably easier to clean. Plus, ceramic feels like a healthier option compared to Teflon. However, like other Bugaboo sets, the metal is softer and more prone to dents, which can be a downside for long-term durability. It’s not quite as sturdy as the Pinnacle version, which is something to keep in mind. I’m really hoping they release a Pinnacle version with the ceramic coating soon—that would be the best of both worlds!

  Bigger than expected

This set would probably be great for a large group, but it is overkill for 2 people. The pots seemed fine, but the pan seemed cheap (too thin). I was not convinced by the handle system, it seemed gimmicky. The description said the storing bag could be used as a sink sack, but that's an error, it's just a stuff bag.
