Was looking for Canadian made snowshoes. GV carries different models, but wanted something for steep trails and some off-trail snowshoeing. I liked the Mountain Extreme as they are a little longer than other models, and have a serrated edge with basic crampon under foot. Over-boot straps adjust easily. Overall, sturdy snowshoes!
These look like good snowshoes, but I have yet to try them. They are not exactly the model advertised: they are Mountain Extreme ST, not Mountain Extreme. As a previous reviewer mentioned, they are black and not red like in the picture.
Très belles raquettes mais celles que j’ai reçues n’avait pas de bordure extérieure rouge; elle est noire. Un peu décevant car j’aimais bien le rouge.
