These shoes look nice but they are a little wide. The top is hard and is a little high so it feels too much space in the toe area. The ankle area is very comfortable, feels very stable. A little pricey for what it can offer.
I have been a big fan of Hoka shoes for providing more sole cushioning than any other shoe I’ve tried. I enjoy long-distance walking/hiking for a month or more at a time & have had the best experience walking on gravel, dirt, mud, cobblestone, & paved roads with Hoka shoes. It’s like walking on pillows - in the best possible way. This is my first time buying Hoka hiking boots. I found the sizing to be the same as the shoes. The hikers needed ‘breaking in’ which the shoes did not. I can feel where the eyelets are on the boot when I walk, so some rubbing spots on my foot with the boot. Still a comfortable, cushy boot, but if I didn’t want/need the ankle protection for a particularly rough walk I’m planning, I would stick with Hoka shoes. Compared with other hiking boots I’ve worn, the Hokas are much more comfortable and way more cushy on the soles than anything else I’ve ever worn. For example, walking on a gravel road, I cannot feel the individual rocks. My soles do not feel beat up after a day of walking. The boots look rather extreme & ridiculous. Someone expressed concern that I would have trouble walking down stairs. I had no problem with stairs at all. I don’t mind looking ridiculous if it means I’m comfortable. I highly recommend Hoka.
I always wear a size 10 in ladies but for some reason it was too big so I went down 1/2 a size but I could've done perfect with a 9. They are si comfortable & I love the looks of them FUNKY!
The shoe looks so strange and the heel and back are a tripping hazard. The forefoot fit nice.
When the shoes arrived they looked huge and over the top. I don't really like the look of them. And the heel is crazy in size but they were comfortable.
Efficient and professional service
These hiking boots look super cool especially the oversized heels. They are light and super comfy. Sizewise tends to fit small. I ordered ladies 9.5 which is same as men’s 8. Hopefully altitude can carry black in color.
