Our collaboration with the Coop Nitaskinan through the Tapiskwan initiative stems from a shared connection with nature. Tapiskwan is a project whose mission is to develop strategies for the cultural transfer of the Atikamekw heritage by creating design and contemporary products inspired by their rich ancestral iconography. This collection honours their designs and celebrates the continuity of their traditional culture. Designed for rough ground, wet grass, or windy evenings by the fire, this waterproof outdoor blanket combines protection and comfort with purpose. The top side is made of heavyweight recycled polyester jacquard featuring artwork by the Tapiskwan collective, while the underside uses high-abrasion waterproof fabric to block moisture and wear. Rustproof grommets allow ground fixation. A removable webbed carry harness with Duraflex® buckle makes it easy to pack and go. Finished with our embroidered patch and certified to GRS and Oeko-Tex® Standard 100.
