  Okay, not a rave

  My wife got these for long, winter walks. She has tried them out twice. First of all, they are one size fits all and do not cover the entire foot. So position them where you want the most heat. Secondly, she found that the insoles should sit out for at least 20 minutes and be noticeably warm before putting them on. She found it was easier to position them on her socks and then put her boots on. (She tried placing them in the boots first, but that didn’t work well for her. ) They were pricey, so not sure if we’ll be getting them again. There are similar products that are just for toes … which is where you want the heat concentrated anyway.

  Semelles chauffantes à usage unique qui gardent les pieds au chaud pendant des heures. Agréables à porter, éliminent l'humidité. Très efficaces pour ce type de semelles car elles gardent la chaleur longtemps.

  didn't work at all

  These didn't work in the slightest. Defective?! I've worn other hotshot insoles and they were great, but these failed miserably.

  Pleasantly surprised

  Bought a few just to try and they did make a difference on very cold days. Stick enough that I could transition from boots to skates and back a few times during a long day outside. Warmth obviously peaks in first few hours but they still deliver heightened comfort for 4-6 hrs. Better than wearing bulkier winter boots in my view.

  Easy to use, nice warmth

  I was pleasantly surprised by these. They were very easy to install on our boots insoles and did not create any discomfort. The heat was not too intense and our feet stayed noticeably warn through -25 to -30 sky days. The size worked well for the entire family, from our two daughter who are 7 & 8 and us. I would say that I could feel the cold creeping up on the sides as the heated insoles where slightly smaller than my boot insoles, but there was enough heat throughout the boot for it not to be an issue. Overall, we were very satisfied. We now have a couple of these our ski kits, just in case.

  Great for the colder days for regular hikes. Not great for a ski boot if you don't have lots of space but in your boot I didn't buy them for that purpose.
