Hélène C. Elwick T. Rated 5 out of 5Perfect for group cooking and cold weather
I first learned about the Jetboil Sumo after seeing one of my Scout youth using it on a camp, and I was impressed enough to get one myself. It’s a fantastic cooking system, especially for group use. The larger pot size makes it practical for preparing meals for multiple people, and it heats quickly and efficiently. What really stands out is that it comes with a regulator built into the stove, which makes it much more reliable in colder weather compared to other systems. This feature alone makes it an excellent choice for year-round camping. Overall, the Jetboil Sumo is durable, efficient, and well-designed for both personal and group trips. I’d definitely recommend it to anyone looking for a versatile stove system.

I have had a Jetboil flash for ten years without ever having a bad experience. Decided to buy a larger version for winter camping so I bought this. It works great and super happy with my purchase.

Jetboil sumo is big enough for two and boils ultra fast. I have the smaller one solo trips.
Hotaru T. Rated 5 out of 5Haven’t tried it yet but
Haven’t tried it yet but we have the mini-mo (which we love) and wanted a bigger one so we’re glad this is a bigger version of the mini. Can’t wait to try it backpacking.

I have been using Jetboils for years. They are great value compared to direct competitors. Integrated ignitor is a huge bonus and has never failed in the 8 plus years that I have owned my first one (this one was actually purchased for a Scout group). Great on fuel and so simple to operate.
Noelle C. Rated 5 out of 5Blast off! Fast boiling!
Awesome product that boils as fast as expected. It sounds like a rocket taking off but is boiling within minutes. We chose the Sumo size as it allows for simmering if needed. The only negative for us with the jet boil is the nature of the gas and you can't share it with others. Ie. with our white gas if someone runs out or we run out you can be topped up or top up others.

This little thing is epic. Makes boiling water a breeze with how fast it is. We got the Sumo being a family of 3 with a toddler and it makes the perfect amount of water for our meals! It’s super compact and lightweight even with being a larger cooking system. Will be testing it out shortly with my cook set and the pot attachment it comes with. Can’t wait to use it more this upcoming camping season!
