I had bought the Vermont Classic and they were a bit small for my face. On the other hand, these fit perfectly, I have not yet tested the difference in resistance to scratches, but when they fall off I will come for another review.

These sunglasses are exactly what I was looking for to travel on glaciers for extended periods of time. The cut down on the glare, have removable side panels, and are affordable.

I’ve been a fan of Julbo for decades. The best lenses and designs for alpine climbing. The Explorer has flexible side pieces that let them adapt (and stay on) different width heads. The removable side shields are nice, not only on glaciers, but reducing wind while cycling.
