I bought the correct size, which a little room to grow but they were so narrow I couldn't get my son's foot in. I took the insole out and ensured they were the correct size and they were, but his foot was wider than the insole. I should have remembered from my 1st that Kamik's fit narrow, and my kids don't have super wide feet.
These looked great, however their are very very narrow. I tried to force my son's foot into them and he was not happy. I took the insole out to notice how narrow they were. My toddler doesn't have abnormally wide feet, but these were too narrow. I returned them. This isn't the first time I noticed Kamik's were too narrow, I should have remembered from my 1st son that.
I had high hopes for these boots for my 18 month old, I ordered a size bigger and they are so snug I cannot get his foot in with socks and pants on. Barefoot barely. I took the insole out and he had room in the length, but his foot hung over the insole. I found this an issue with Kamik before.
Great boots for a Canadian winter. The fit is slightly small - I originally bought a size 6 but the footprint was exactly the same size as the Kamik Snowbug toddler 5. I would go at least 1 size up, possibly 2 depending on your toddlers feet. Otherwise they're great boots - very sturdy, easy to put on, feel quite secure, and are rated for -32 Celsius. My little guy seems to find them comfortable and they're definitely a lot sturdier than the Snowbug boots.
Bought them for my 19-months old daughter, size 5 was little small, changed it to 6 which is perfect, but she is more on the smaller size for her age. They are pretty soft and light, easy to put on.
These boots are incredibly lite! The string in the front is actually an elastic, witch makes the boots really easy to put on / take off. Compare to Sorel boots, these are more narrow and might run a bit small. My 2 year old just started to wear size 8 in shoes and I bought size 10 for the boots.
J'ai acheté ces bottes pour ma petite de 2 ans. Elles sont extrêmement légères. J'ai été agréablement surprise que ce ne soit pas un lacet sur le devant de la botte mais un élastique. Donc plus facile et rapide à mettre. Elles sont faites un peu étroite (comparé à une Sorel qui est très large). J'ai aussi choisi un point plus grand que je pensais prendre (nous sommes en septembre, elle porte du 8 depuis peu et j'ai décidé de garder les 10 pour qu'elles lui fassent tout l'hiver). Nous attendons l'arrivé du froid pour voir si elles sont bel et bien chaudes!
