Great winter bag!
Bought this to take the kids winter camping. Will probably only winter camp once per year as a family and for the years we are in Scouting so it was a splurge, but we wanted to be comfortable. And we were! Mind you it was only -10 that night, but my daughter said she has never slept so warm even on fall camps, and my son also took this bivy camping in -18 and slept soundly through the night. The bag is certainly big and bulky but it iwas the right compromise between quality and cost for this level of fill and warmth. The zipper seems well protected so didn’t feel any cold there and the draw cords are well placed. It is hard to pack down because of the pertex fabric and it is a real struggle to get it into the stuff sack it comes with. I will probably buy a sturdy compression sack for this next, but overall very happy with this purchase so far.
